Disney is wonderful at accommodating disabilities. I spent many year avoiding theme parks because of the people, noise, flashing lights, etc.. I am now a passport member at Disneyland. Here are some tips:
1.) Guest Assistance Card (GAC): These are available at Guest Services. Go to Guest Services in the park and say you have a disability and explain how it effects your enjoyment of the parks, be specific. There are many different stamps to accommodate different needs. I get one that allows me an alternative place to wait because I do not do well in crowded queues. Once you get the card it is good for the rest of your trip. This card will not get you to the front of the line though so don't expect that. Only Make a Wish kids get to skip the lines.
2.) Disabled Parade Viewing: There are parade viewing locations roped off for people with disabilities with a CM(Cast Member) working as gate keeper. They are usually used by people in wheelchairs so no one comes and stands in front of them but if you have a GAC they will let you use them and you can even request a chair.
3.) First Aid Station: Each park has a first aid station. They are a nice place to unwind when you can't take the noise/people/lights but don't want to leave. They have cots in the back to lay down on or comfy chairs in the waiting room to just soak in the quiet.
4.) Mornings are the best time to be in the parks. Most people are on vacation and don't want to wake up early. If you can make to the parks just after opening the crowds are a lot smaller. Be careful if you get there before opening as there is a stampede when they open.
5.) Character meetings: My Disney trip isn't complete without a picture with a character. Meeting characters can be very difficult if you can't stand pushing and shoving. There are many CMs around characters for crowd control. If you stand looking at the character for a while but not near the line one will come talk to you. If you want a picture but can't stand the "line" tell them often the character will suddenly decide to take a stroll over to you(results may vary).
That is all I can think of at this time. If you have any questions I'll try to answer.
