The Library of Congress National Library Service for the Blind and Physically Handicapped, also known as NLS, is a government-run library service for people who cannot read standard print books and magazines because of visual or physical impairment. Materials are sent through the mail postage-free, but internet book and magazine download services have been added in the past decade. NLS provides books and magazines in audio and braille formats.
