Every effort is made to make our collection of state statutory law concerning service dogs or assistance dogs as complete and up-to-date as possible. Links to official state copies of quoted laws is included when available. For clarification on what is meant by a state law, the reader may wish to contact the state's Attorney General's office or Human Rights Commission. Information on making such contacts is included when available.
If you would like to conduct your own research into service dog laws, or any other type of state law, searchable legal databases are included for each state when available. If you find something missing from our collection which you feel should be included, please contact us.
If you find an error, or an out-of-date entry, again, please contact us.
