Looking for articles: acupressure points and/or TTouch
« on: September 02, 2009, 11:45:35 PM »
Aculady, I get the impression you are either an acupuncturist or interested in acupuncture.  Would you be interested in writing a first aid article on some key pressure points to use on the way to the vet, for soreness/aches, or for calming/de-stressing?  If yes, please PM me and we'll discuss.

Along the lines of stress, I'm also looking for an article on recognizing signs of stress and helping to alleviate it, particularly with some discussion of TTouch techniques.  Anyone interested?

I've got it into my head to create a section called the "Handler's Handbook" with information specifically for handlers in stewarding their dogs, dealing with access issues, educating the public (including cards/brochures for download) and so on.

We're always looking for new members of the site builder's association, the group which authors and edits articles for the main site.  If anyone is interested in joining, please PM me.  Serious inquiries only, please.

Thanks, Christi.  Christi's a good editor if anyone is feeling shy about writing for fear they'll make spelling/grammar mistakes or need some guidance on style.  We also tend to publish by consensus, which means a group review by the site builder's association with suggested tweaks to improve the article.  However, if any one would like to avail themselves of a private review session with Christi, they could contact her via PM.

Kirsten,

Did my PM to you go through? I sent it about a week ago, but now when I look through my sent items I don't find it.

No rush to respond if it did. Just checking.
