Wow... that is a scary situation. He definitely should not be driving!

The main things that I have heard about narcolepsy dogs were them helping people with multiple disabilities that include narcolepsy, not for the sole purpose of narcolepsy.

Thanks Kirsten I will let you know.   That helps me feel better about venting in this particular situation!   Both are also trying to get SSI but both have the capability of working.  I am playing with the idea of telling her about the  doctor prescribing the dog for driving.  It makes sense to me that narcolepsy alert dogs would help with multiple disabilities.  Kind of like how Sophie alerts me to seizures (as she did yesterday! Yea for her!) and helps with my other disabilities as well.    :trx:
