Wet behind the ears

Ruby periodically gets some crud on the very tips of her ears (like the last 1/4" of ear tip).  The vet told me to wash her ears in Selsiun Blue.  So I got tired of dealing with this off and on and resolved to wash her ears every day for a few weeks.  We're on day four and I've noticed her ear tips are especially soft and shiny.

The down side?  Have you ever tried washing just the ears on a prick eared dog?  Rinsing without pouring stuff into her ears is a challenge.  The net result is she always winds up with wet ear tips AND wet behind the ears.
